Task List

The Task List view in Worklenz lets you manage and organize all your project tasks in one place. It displays every task you have created and allows you to customize the view using filters and groups. You can also switch to Kanban view or Roadmap format.

Search tasks

Use the search feature to quickly find any task in your list — especially helpful when managing a large number of tasks.

  • Click the Search icon at the top of the task list.
  • A search box will appear with action buttons.
  • Enter the Task Name and click Search to find matching tasks.
  • To clear the search results, click the Reset button.

Sort task list

You can arrange your tasks in Ascending or Descending order using the Sort dropdown.

  • Click the Sort dropdown to see the available sort options.
  • Select the sort criteria you want and choose Ascending or Descending.
  • You can sort your task list by multiple criteria at the same time.

Filters

Use filters to narrow down your task list based on specific criteria.

  1. By Priority

    • Filter tasks by their priority level.
    • Click the Priority dropdown and select an option (Low, Medium, or High).
    • The task list will automatically update to show only matching tasks.
  2. By Labels

    • Filter tasks by one or more labels.
    • Click the Labels dropdown and select the labels you want to filter by.
    • The task list will automatically update to show only tasks with the selected labels.
  3. By Members

    • Filter tasks by assigned team members.
    • Click the Members dropdown and select one or more members.
    • The task list will automatically update to show only tasks assigned to the selected members.

Groups

You can group all tasks by Status, Phase, or Priority.

  • Click the Group By dropdown and select your preferred grouping.
  • The task list will automatically reorganize based on your selection.

Show Archived

You can show or hide Archived tasks in the task list. To display archived tasks, tick the Show Archived checkbox and they will appear alongside your active tasks.

Show Fields

The Show Fields dropdown lets you control which columns are visible in your task list. Click the dropdown, then select the columns you want to display or deselect the ones you want to hide. See customize columns for more details.
