Email notifications
Worklenz sends email notifications to keep you informed about important updates, even when you are not actively using the platform.
Email notification events
You will receive email notifications for the following events:
- Existing user invited to a team - When an existing Worklenz user is invited to join a team.
- New user invited to a team - When an unregistered user is invited to join a team, they receive an invitation email to sign up and join.
- Task assigned to you - When a task is assigned to you. These notifications are sent as a batched digest rather than individually.
- A notify-marked task is moved to Done - When a task you are subscribed to via the Notify option is marked as completed.
- New comment on a task - When a new comment is added to a task you are involved in.
- New comment on a project - When a new comment is posted on a project you are part of.
- Daily digest of task updates - A daily summary of updates across your assigned tasks.
- Project-level daily digest - A daily summary of all activity within a project, sent to members who have subscribed to the project.
- Client portal invitation - When a new client is created with an email address, a client portal invitation is automatically sent to them.
- Client portal - new request submitted - When a client submits a new request through the client portal, the relevant team members are notified.
Email notifications are sent to the email address associated with your Worklenz account. You can also receive in-app notifications while using the platform, or set up alerts through third-party tools like Slack and Microsoft Teams.
